Our Mission, Vision and Aim

Our Mission
Why do we exist...

...to bring the presence of God into the village of Marston Moretaine and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit to make disciples for Jesus.

Our Vision
Where are we called to go...

… to be a living and loving Christian community reaching into every aspect of village life.

Our Guiding Scripture

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your chords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities." Isaiah54:2-4a

Our Priorities

To live for Christ - locally through blessing our community.
To strengthen the members – so that every member lives to fulfil their God-given purpos

The Transformation We Hope in the near future.

Leadership
We are seeking a new Minister, that is God’s choice for the church, to lead us into future growth.
The Leadership Team will work alongside the Minister to keep the above mission and vision central

Community
We are seeking to re-envision existing church / community links and to build new ones that will lead to greater engagement with people of all ages throughout the village.

Welcome
We are aiming that a 'habit of invitation' be embedded in our members, so that they naturally and regularly invite others they know to the various activities and services we run.

Growth
We want to see growth in regular Sunday attendance through new disciples being made, who are then equipped to be used by God for his kingdom purposes.

Fellowship
We hope for a greater sense of family and unity built up in the fellowship through people feeling more relationally connected to each other.

Our Aim
What we need to do...

...
To be a church were everyone belongs and is equipped to reach their full potential in Jesus Christ.
