'No Strings' in action at the Church End Lower School Fete

'No Strings' puppet team was formed in April 2008 after a few of us attended a training day run by One Way UK. We came home from that day with a puppet and each person full of enthusiasm for this ministry. Lots of practice later and we now use the puppets to perform skits and songs, all with a biblical message.
Our first public performance was at the church-run holiday club in Marston Moretaine, August 2008 and since then we have used the puppets a number of times at our SundayBrunch, in several local Lower School assemblies, in church services and also at Church End Lower School Fete. We also organised and ran an informal puppet training session for a church in Rushden. From October 2009 we hope to be offering local schools a puppet workshop for their year 4 pupils.
'No Strings' is part of the outreach ministry of Vale Community Church and our team verse is "I will praise you as long as I live and in your name I will lift up my hands," Psalm 63:4.
